Volcano Osorno and Petrohué Waterfalls

This tour we can offer you with 3 options:

• First option:
  Osorno Volcano

• Second option:
  Osorno Volcano + Saltos de Petrohue

• Third option:
  Osorno Volcano + Saltos de Petrohue + Lake  “Todos los Santos”

First Option:
Half day trip to the Osorno Volcano.    (120 km)

This tour is a very good option if you are short in time. We go up by car to the Volcano; visiting a small crater, having walks (if you want) on lava fields and native forest.

Once we arrive with the car to the ski station, you have a fantastic view of the Andes and his Volcanoes, the Petrohue valley and the Lake Llanquihue, one of the biggest lakes in South America.

Option: From here you can take the ski lift up to the ice fields! (not included in price) and visit the “Red Crater” the way back we can walk down over the lava fields to the Pick up.

Eating options:

We can have coffee on the ski station or, if you want, have dinner in a very beautiful lodge on the way back to Puerto Varas. Also you can bring your own sandwiches for picnic on the Volcano. In this case we will bring a thermos bottle and coffee.

Second option:   
To the Osorno Volcano and the Petrohue Waterfalls    (150 km)

On this tour we visit the two most important highlights in the National Park “Vicente Perez Rosales”

We go up by car to the Volcano; visiting a small crater, having walks (if you want) on lava fields and native forest.

Once we arrive with the car to the ski station, you have a fantastic view of the Andes and his Volcanoes, the Petrohue valley and the Lake Llanquihue, one of the biggest lakes in South America.

Option: 
From here you can take the ski lift up to the ice fields! (not included in price)  Having good weather you shouldn’t miss this!

Now we have different options:

A 2 hour hike from the middle of the Volcano (downhill), crossing the native forest to the Petrohue River, or driving down the Volcano and visiting different places we know on the shore of Petrohue River with short walks.

After this we will visit the famous Waterfalls of Petrohue. They are formed about 600 years ago by volcanic eruptions and it is realy fantastic how the turquoise colored water falls powerfully over the black volcanic rocks.

Here is also an interesting option (not included) getting close to the Waterfalls by Jet boat.

Oh, ... by the way, there is also a Lagoon which is very green because of his seaweed, … it’s very touristic , … I would prefer to show you some other places (depends the time of the year). For example, there’s a place where you can see salmons jumping up the river so close in front of you, that you nearly may catch them by hand.   You don’t believe me? Take the tour.

Eating options:

We can have coffee on the ski station or, if you want, you may have dinner in a very beautiful logde down to the Volcano. There are also places to eat barbeque or salmon. Also, you can bring your own sandwiches to have picnick. In this case we will bring thermos bottle and coffee.

Third option:
To the Osorno Volcano, Petrohue Waterfalls and the Lake “Todos los Santos - Petrohue   (160 km)

This tour is the most complete program we can offer to the National park “Vicente Perez Rosales”
We go up by pickup truck  to the Volcano; visiting a small crater, having walks (if you want) on lava fields and native forest.

Once we arrive with the pickup truck to the ski station, you have a fantastic view of the Andes and his Volcanoes, the Petrohue valley and the Lake Llanquihue, one of the biggest lakes in South America.

Option: 
From here you can take the ski lift up to the ice fields! (not included in price)  Having good weather you shouldn’t miss this!

After this we drive down the Volcano and we will visit the famous Waterfalls of Petrohue. After visiting the waterfalls we drive up now up to the Lake “Todos los Santos”.  Here we can walk a little along the Lake shores of Osorno Volcano This place is full of magic with an amazing  view of the Andes and its volcanoes.

There is also the option to make a small boat trip!
