That’s what our house looked like originally. It is a 100-year-old house surrounded by a gorgeous garden. But it was too small to be considered as a hostel – 2 rooms, kitchen and bath, simple as that.

 


Having extensively considered and planned everything, we started building. The garage was removed - that’s now the lounge for the guests – and a further floor was added.

 


Here we have most of the drudgery already left behind. The Casa Azul was “ready to go”.
